It still amazes me how much a child can change in one weeks time from 0 to one year!
Ben is just over 2 months old and he has the bluest eyes and follows your face and returns your smiles.
What a beautiful baby boy!
Keeping an eye on Momma 🙂
Then a little snooze.
Mommy delivers an evening snack.
Lovely day.
What a wonderful fun filled weekend!
Bill and I arrived in town on Friday night. Todd led us to the boys’ day care facility and Jack gave us a guided tour of the place.
Pizza for supper!
Will had to attend one last rehearsal for his part in the Odyssey of the Mind competition to be held the next day.
Saturday morning, Will was out early with Todd to meet his team at the school that held the Annual State Tournament.
As there was not much for a 2 or a 3 year old to do while waiting for our boy to preform, we headed for the Echo Aquarium in Burlington.
Then off to the Odyssey of the Mind!
Here is a “taste” of the production Will and his collaborators presented:
The ‘Shrink-o-lator Three Thousand’ created by our very own engineer, Will. (displayed by one of his classmates)
Will had a sleep over birthday party date for Saturday evening.
So, the rest of us had a nice dinner in St. Albans.
Back at “the ranch” on Sunday morning, Tina prepared a luscious Birthday Celebration Brunch.
First course? Nice presentation!
Here’s Jack “sitting” at the table. 🙂
I don’t think Jack actually has a lap!
Cake is coming right up!
And gifts 🙂
Happy Birthday everyone.
And Happy Trails to you!
Gale and Livy came for a visit.
They wanted to see Jack and to meet Benjamin.
Gale is a very accomplished quilter and she made wonderful quilt for Ben.
Livy took a turn at holding Benjamin
but found that she was better suited to serenading the young fellow.
Ben loved his new quilt and shared it with Jack’s baby, Gerald.
Then it was time to pack things up and for Jack and Ben to head for home.
Ben got cozy in his car seat and took a snooze.
Kendyl is growing up so fast. (Or so her Northern grand parents think.)
Bill and I packed up and headed to GA to help celebrate Kendyl’s 8th birthday.
Here are some of the highlights.
Thursday
Karate class
followed by a scrumptious dinner at the Mexican restaurant.
Friday was the circus! What a fun time.
Saturday
Then “prep” for the main event, the Birthday Party.
Then off to the stables.
Kendyl selects “Stormy” as her steed.
Jase ready for a ride around the ring.
Great party!
Here comes the cake.
Sunday
Bill and I had to depart . The kids came to the airport to see us off.
I had to head home.
Bill, on the other hand, headed to Yellowstone for some snowmobiling!
