This photo of Great Grammie and Jack is a week old.
She and I went to Kim’s and Anne’s to baby sit for Jack while Anne ran some errands with her parents. So I got my Thursday visit in!
This week I’ll miss the Thursday photo session. (Jack is probably relieved!)
Tomorrow is Thursday and I won’t see Jack!
Seems like since he was born on a Thursday I’ve had the pleasure of his company almost every Thursday.
Monday was his 4 month check up. He weighed in at 19 lbs and 10 oz. He is 26 3/4 inches.
He likes to blow bubbles and give folks the ‘raspberries’.
He’s got the best blue eyes! And baby, when he smiles!
Maybe I’ll see him on Friday. 🙂
On Jack’s 18 week-a-versary he was adopted by his Mom, Anne. Those of us that could, packed off to family court to witness the proceedings.
Of course, Kim is still his Mom. Now Jack has two parents, a very desirable situation. 🙂
Jack’s grandfather, Jack was in attendance along with Grandma Nancy ( I’ve forgotten what she wanted to be called … Maybe it was Nana). Christine May, Great Grammie and I were the rest of the witnesses.
I must say it was the best court experience I have had! Everyone was so nice. The bailiff took photos at the bench and the judge was so agreeable!
After the legal part of the day, we headed to Kim + Anne’s for a little visiting. Then off to the Longhorn Steak House to celebrate with Gramps.
This was a pretty nice way to spend your 18 week-a-versary, huh? Jack?
Just minutes old on October 4th 2007! You hold a dear child in your arms and can’t even imagine what he will be like. So small and wrinkly and blotchy.
Just 17 weeks later!
All grabby, wiggly, and gabby.
I told him he was to have a cousin named Ted, and he said,”Say What???”
Such a beautiful baby boy!
( spoken by his Grandmother. LOL)
